About Me

Hello. My name is Barbara Miller, and I wrote a children’s book about something my late husband, Marv, used to often say.

 

As you probably guessed, the book is called, "Just Cuz."

 

Just Cuz was Marv’s Hakuna Matata, his midwest-mantra that guided him through life’s more challenging times. Growing up with depression-era parents, he understood how unpredictable life could be; that misfortune could strike at any moment. But rather than walk around afraid of what might come next, he found his happiness in letting go and accepting that sometimes things happen "Just Cuz."

 

And there was no one happier than my Marv.

I want to recognize my nephew Stephen for helping with this website that would've taken me a million years to figure out on my own. They say the older you get the smarter you get, but when it comes to technology, I don't think that applies!

 

Anyway, I think it's really nice when authors interact with the folks who are reading their book. Not that I'm really expecting anyone to read Just Cuz but in case you are here, hello, how do you do and thank you so much for taking the time! I'll keep you updated as to the book's progress, along with my journey in finding a publisher.
